其實喺馬會落敗騎師訪問我哋會睇到好多騎師嘅真性情 (嗱 另一途徑係睇佢哋嘅 Instagram) 潘頓 係最不屑做呢啲訪問 (輸咗馬你仲黎搞我!) 通常都係一句起兩句止 今次佢只係用一個英文字黎講 幸運如意 嘅表現 就係 Disaster (災難)
至於我就睇得出 柏寶 由心嘅喜悅 佢對 華恩庭 嘅表現相當滿意 成程訪問四萬咁口 非常享受 值得為人馬鼓掌

Pressing the finish line with textbook posture 3. Fist-bumping the air and cheering towards the crowd, all that done in a smooth transition. Huge difficulty. Respect!

柏寶挽回面子的時候? Brett Prebble’s Redemption?
黎近一個星期對柏寶來講會很有趣 今個星期日佢會顆拍 美國聯邦 出戰 愛彼女皇盃 (曾夥拍同主馬 翠月 勇奪 墨爾本盃) 而接著來o既星期日 幸運如意 o既帥權就被人搶左 但係佢就會策騎 華恩庭 出戰 主席短途獎 唔講唔知 呢對人馬組合係兩戰兩勝 我相信 柏寶 會o係呢兩場國際一級出盡九牛二虎之力去挽回近來已無咁好多o既面子呱?
The coming week is an interesting one for Brett Prebble. This Sunday he will partner with The United States to compete in QEII Cup. (Brett has rided on Green Moon, from the same owner, and won the Melbourned Cup). And the next Sunday he lost his favourite ride Lucky Bubbles in Chairman's Sprint Prize but he still got a solid contender Amazing Kids, on which he rode two times and won in both races. Trust he is extra motivated to seek for redemption in these two Group 1 races.

幸運如意 高峰已過? Lucky Bubbles has passed its Peak?
幸運如意 o係一隻好多馬迷都有好感o既馬 (包括我在內) 演出相對準繩 而往往o係大賽中飲恨
o係 短途錦標 輸兩個半馬位以後 大家都有好多情感o既宣洩o係 柏寶 身上 亦有傳言下場會換 布文 跑
首先 柏寶 o係上場跑 幸運如意 完全無跑錯 就算擺個 布文 上去 最多可能進步一至兩個馬位
而 幸運如意 o係前仗追唔倒 幸福指數 好多人都怪慢步速 但係我已經覺得隻馬 開始回落 所以上場我已經係攞 幸福指數 做連贏膽 跑完 短途錦標 之後 更加確認我o既觀察o係正確
依我所見 幸運如意 唯一重生o既機會係轉馬房 轉訓練o既方式 如果唔係都好難逃出呢個下降o既軌跡 唔知大家點睇呢?
Lucky Bubbles are beloved by many racing fans, including myself. Perform consistently at high level but somehow always ran second in the most important International Group One races. After the loss of Lucky Bubbles in the Sprint Cup, many would emotionally blame that on Brett Prebble. There are even rumors that Hugh Bowman would run the next race.
Firstly, I don't think Brett has made any mistakes on his last run. In fact, even Hugh Bowman rode on Lucky Bubbles, it might at best improve by 1-2 lengths.
Many has thought the slow pacing is the key reason that leads to Lucky Bubbles loss in the Centenary Sprint Cup. I held a different view and believed Lucky Bubbles has passed its peak already. That's why I chose Peniaphobia as the Banker for the last race instead. After the race, I'm more confident on my conclusion.
In my opinion, the only chance that could help Lucky Bubbles to return or exceed its previous peak is by changing the trainer. It's brutal, but it's necessary. What's your thoughts?

我看透了柏寶 I Finally Understood Brett Prebble
好多人話 柏寶 隻 慣勝聆聽 走外疊係想輸馬 其實 我o既看法係剛剛相反 佢係想搏殺o既
我已經觀察左 柏寶 o既騎法有一段時間 我o既結論係佢騎馬o既安全意識比 韋達 有過之而無不及 無他o既 佢兩個係香港都搵左好多錢o羅
所以 柏寶 殺馬還殺馬 佢都好注重安全 基本上有兩種模式
放頭 (靚先生 必搏) => 安全
轉彎走最外疊 (皇帝誥令 白玉凱旋 真好彩 x 2 慣勝聆聽 勝利仔 等等) => 安全
要奢望佢係第三層或以後入直路再o係裡面涉位走S字路線 基本上係無可能
慣勝聆聽 走到中段 仍然o係第三層o既內疊 (第一層 威先生 第二層 中華寶貝) 柏寶 好自然地 拉隻馬出去外疊 不過 潘頓 隻 中游神箭 無啦啦再頂頂佢 咁咪邊左非常突兀o既由貼欄變五疊轉彎o羅
不過大家請不要誤會 我不是支持 柏寶 我認為佢跑得好差 不過我亦都認為佢只係有心走出去殺馬 而唔係輸馬
There are many doubting Brett Prebble's honesty on his ride of Dr Listening. I beg to differ. In fact, I think he was trying to win but using the wrong way.
If you look at Brett Prebble's recent rides, when he really wants to win a race, he would either i) putting his horse in front, or ii) moving to the farthest side and get a clear path on the straight. To him, safety first, and perhaps even more so than Douglas Whyte.
We have to understand both Douglas and Brett are humans. They have already accumulated a decent wealth (to say at least) after riding in Hong Kong for more than a decade. At this stage of their life, they would value Safety over High-Risk Winners.
